Family Time in August

Fair (5 of 11).jpg

Doesn't that smile say it all??? My heart melted when I saw this picture after all this is what it's all about!

Our summer is winding down and that means county fair. The girls showed a total of 8 lambs and  2 steers this year. They both did GREAT! Olivia is still too young to show in regular 4H so she had her 4th shot at the pee-wee showmanship. She finally fit into one of their actual age classes and wasn't just added to the youngest class.

My heart is full of pride

The time both Chloe and Ally invested this year was enormous and it really paid off. We all learned a lot of new things to try next year and can't wait to get started. We are very blessed to be in a new 4H club full of wonderful people that is centered on animals. All of the kids have made some wonderful new friends. Here are a few shots from fair, I have a few hundred to go through when time allows.

On another note, I should be back to work in the next couple of weeks and will re-open the store! On to our next adventure ... homeschooling :)
